GoToSim is a driving simulator created using Unity. Although it is still in development, it has already attracted approximately 300 members to its Discord community server with zero funding. My team and I have employed some interesting techniques to recreate and integrate Hong Kong’s streetscapes into the game. Of course, we have also extensively utilized AI technology to assist in the production. This project has taught me a lot, such as how to achieve desired effects with limited resources. In 2024, we successfully showcased the game demo for the first time at the Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Expo, where we received a great deal of feedback and suggestions. Most people who tried GoToSim thought the idea was excellent, and our initial market pricing was very affordable. The outcome exceeded both my and my team’s expectations.
This is a Minecraft Java Edition server that I created before graduating from school. I dedicated nearly 3 to 4 years to researching and transforming vanilla Minecraft into a mod-like gameplay experience. Working independently on this project enabled me to master almost all aspects of Multimedia technology, including game development, programming, promotional production, and video production, among others. This journey shaped my career path, ultimately leading me to become a Multimedia designer.
